This is Jiwon, my dearly beloved, with me at Angkor Wat, Cambodia. We've been joined at the hip for more than ten years now. She is an immensely talented teacher, student, writer, translator and artist. (But she can't drive a car!) She is just completing a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University, and will join the faculty at the University of California, Berkeley in August 2003. She means the world to me.

My siblings! A rare reunion of Hilary, Jason & Brian. In March 2003, Hilary got her Master's in social work, married Charles, and moved with daughter Indigo and Charles to western Montana. Poet, collector and curmudgeon, my brother Brian got his Master's in English in June 2002. He lives in Hallandale, FL for now, but when death comes, Brian intends to be frozen in a vat of liquid nitrogen.
